Our Hierarch and Clergy
|
St Andrew's Camp -- the campers, staff, clergy and volunteers -- is blessed with the support and involvement of His Grace, Bishop +MICHAEL, Bishop of the Diocese of NY and NJ. Since his consecration in 2010, Vladika Michael has visited camp weekly each year, exposing the children to Hierarchical services, his vast scriptural and liturgical knowledge, and the opportunity to engage with the Hierarch of the Diocese in which the camp is located. Among the most coveted things Bishop Michael does with the children is the "Questions for Vladika" question-and-answer session, where campers anonymously submit questions that Bishop Michael answers for all to hear. 2011 Program Director
Fr. Philip Halliwell Fr. Philip is a third-year student at St Tikhon's Seminary and was an invaluable leader as the 2011 Program Director. Fr Philip introduced journal keeping, a greater focus on daily prayer and worship in the chapel with services apart from matins and vespers, shared his musical talents, and was accompanied by his wife, Tatiana, and four children as staff and campers. We are grateful for Fr Philip's contributions and pray for his continued involvement as a volunteer in the future. |
